On Monday, October 17, 2022, Hector Dominguez, of Smart City PDX, joined us and Portland’s TA3M to discuss the surveillance technologies policy that his team and Portland’s Office of Equity and Human Rights have been working on for the past year. The proposed policy is a binding resolution, which you can read here:

A city council hearing for the policy is currently planned for Wednesday, November 30th, and the public is welcome to offer testimony at the hearing.
